Our Law graduates have a bright chance of joining the prestigious Indian Army, after their Law Graduation. They can join the Army through the JAG Entry (Judge Advocate Entry). Join Indian Army through JAG Entry
Let us have a look on the different aspects of the JAG Entry
  • Who all can apply: Unmarried/Married Males and Unmarried females, who are law graduates, can apply through this entry.
  • Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a Graduate with LLB / LLM with 55% marks. They must be registered with Bar Council of India / State.
  • Age: The candidates should lie between 21-27 years of age.
  • Commission: The candidates will be inducted through short service commission.
  • Training Academy: The training academy is Officers training Academy (OTA).
  • Procedure:
    • Initial Screening and shortlisting of applications is done at Recruiting Directorate Army Headquarters.
    • Shortlisted candidates then face SSB interview.
    • The candidates, who qualify at the Service Selection Board and are found medically fit by a Medical Board, are placed in order of merit. The final selection is made according to the number of vacancies available at that time.
  • Time of Notification: The notification is released in June/July on the career website of Indian Army.
