In a pre-dawn military action under “Operation Sindoor,” the Indian Army successfully intercepted and neutralized several armed drones launched by Pakistan over the Khasa Cantonment area in Amritsar. The incident, which took place at approximately 5 AM, marks a sharp escalation in hostilities between the two neighbors, who have seen a surge in cross-border tensions over the past week.
According to official sources, the hostile drones were detected violating Indian airspace and were promptly destroyed by India’s air defense units before they could cause any damage. The military operation is being viewed as a direct response to recent Pakistani drone incursions and munitions activities targeting sensitive Indian military zones, including those in Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur.
