Chief of Integrated Defence Staff Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit will represent India at the Annual Chiefs of Defence Conference, scheduled to be held in Thailand from August 26 to 28, 2025.
The conference, jointly hosted by the United States Indo-Pacific Command and the Royal Thai Armed Forces, will bring together Defence Chiefs from across the Indo-Pacific region to discuss evolving security challenges and strengthen military-to-military engagements.
According to the Ministry of Defence, this year’s edition will focus on maritime security, counter-terrorism, cyber resilience, humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, and fostering a stable Indo-Pacific.
During the event, Air Marshal Dixit is expected to engage with counterparts from participating nations to enhance joint preparedness, interoperability, and strategic partnerships aimed at addressing common security concerns.
The MoD further noted that the conference underscores India’s commitment to regional security frameworks, multilateral cooperation, and a rules-based, inclusive Indo-Pacific.
