In a significant intellectual initiative aimed at enhancing strategic thought and operational preparedness, the Pine Division of Kharga Corps organised a high-level seminar titled PineSangoshthi on the theme “Recalibrating Deterrence: Pakistan’s Strategic Trajectory & India’s Options.” The event brought together over 500 officers from across the Indian Army, participating both offline and online, to deliberate on evolving security challenges and India’s strategic responses.
The seminar was inaugurated with a keynote address by Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding, Kharga Corps, who underscored the need for a nuanced understanding of Pakistan’s security posture and its implications for India’s long-term strategic planning. The sessions featured insights from eminent diplomats, senior military leaders, journalists, scholars, and renowned strategic thinkers, who enriched the discourse with diverse and thought-provoking perspectives.
