Pocket Money for A NDA Cadet. On selection for admission to the National Defence Academy, the following are required to be deposited by you at the beginning of each term either in cash or through a bank draft for State Bank of India, NDA Branch, Pune (Code No 1269) in favour of “Cadets Accounts, NDA” (Name and UPSC No of the candidate to be written on the reverse of the DD).
In case you fail to bring the items as mentioned in the JI please bring a Bank Demand Draft in lieu. All the items are available at the NDA. The items are likely to cost Rs 10,000/- (Ten Thousand only).
Apart from the sums mentioned, candidates are advised to bring Rs 2500/-(Two Thousand Five Hundred only) in cash that may be required for miscellaneous personal expenses during the process of settling down initially. While reporting to NDA, candidates are not to have more than Rs 2500/- (Two Thousand Five Hundred only) in cash.
