Lt Gen Mohit Wadhwa has taken over the reins of Headquarters 101 Area in a formal ceremony marked by military tradition and solemnity. On the occasion, Lt Gen RC Tiwari, Army Commander, Eastern Command, congratulated Lt Gen Wadhwa on assuming command and conveyed his best wishes for the new assignment.
As part of the ceremony, Lt Gen RC Tiwari laid a wreath at Rhino Prerna Sthal, honouring the valiant soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice during the 1971 Indo-Pak War. The tribute reflected the Army’s enduring respect for its heroes and the legacy of courage and commitment that continues to inspire generations of soldiers.
The change of command at Headquarters 101 Area signifies continuity in leadership and reinforces the formation’s commitment to operational excellence and the defence of India’s northeastern frontiers.
