According to the list of successful candidates, a total of 153 men and 46 women have cracked the Combined Defence Services Examination (I) 2016. While Bandhan Bitan Mukherjee topped the list of successful candidates in men’s category, Suman Devi top ranked the women’s list containing 46 candidates. Bhawnani Siddharth Haresh and Pranav M Nair came 2nd and 3rd respectively in men’s category whereas Dipansha Tyagi and Aanchal Bhalaik came 2nd and 3rd in women’s category.
Bringing Pride to Parents Aanchal Bhalaik, A Pahari Girl who belongs to Apple Heartland Kotgarh in Shimla Hills has Ranked 3rd in All India in Merit List at UPSC CDS 1 2016 and is now a Cadet who is joining OTA Officer Training Academy, Chennai in Apri1,2017 and will be Commissioned Officer in March, 2018 is presently pursuing PHD – Psychology from Punjab University, Chandigarh.
Aanchal, born to Satpal Bhalaik and Anita Bhalaik, hails from Bahali in Bhutti Panchayat since childhood was a Bright Student from Gorton Mission School, Kotgarh where she studied upto class 5th and was a consecutive Topper throughout. She later moved to Y.P.S.Mohali and once again scored flying colours and Topped again in entire Tri city Region (Chandigarh – Panchkula – Mohali) in Humanities stream.
Aanchal kept striving as she couldn’t settle for anything but the Best, coming home as a Gold Medalist in B.A. Psychology Honours from Punjab University in the year 2014. Keeping Upto the expectations The Unstoppable Achiever Aanchal has now made all Himachalies Proud when Roll No. 0068635 stood All India 3rd at The UPSC CDS 12016.
