Indian army has raised the vacancies for Judge Advocate General entry JAG 13. JAG entry has very limited number of seats but the rate of selection is raising every year, thus more and more recommended candidates are getting merit out in JAG entries.
Indian army has raised a few seats for men and women in JAG 13th course. JAG entry had 07 seats for men earlier which have been raised to 10 and for women number of seats are now 04.
Merit list: it is to be noted that mere qualifying at the SSB interview does not confirm final selection. A merit list is prepared purely on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in SSB interview and as such higher educational, previous performances, NCC background etc have no role to play. Those high in the merit list and who come within the stipulated vacancies, and are medically fit, are issued joining instruction for precommissioning training.
