Tips for SSB Repeaters

SSB is an exam that is just revealing your true self through various tests designed and judges psychology at every instance of it. The various tests at SSB are specifically designed keeping in mind the competencies that are needed for this particular job and defending our motherland from invasion. The SSB is a competency based assessment that tries to test the qualities that should be present the motherland with full faith, and devotion. Thatโ€™s why it is said that even if you are rejected donโ€™t feel that you lack something. You only lack qualities that are needed for this particular job. People rejected at various instances should never feel that they are useless.

Then what should rejected lot do. They should analyse where they went wrong and the best time to do so is immediately you return back from SSB. The things are fresh in your mind and you can clearly remember what went wrong for you. Also that particular thing should be improved, updated, prepared while you get ready for your next trip of SSB. The following saying covers the essence correctly:
โ€œRunning away from any problem only increases the distance from the solution and the dreamโ€~~ Jayendra Pratap Singh
In the individual mentorship that I provide to aspirants many repeaters disclose that they want to quit and donโ€™t want to go again. I know SSB is such a place where if you go, you will always try for it. But such thoughts come in mind of people who have been rejected many times, but I assure that you should keep trying because quitting is not the quality of an officer if I remember correctly. An officer is epitome of strength, pride and sacrifice who can never say no to anything, so how can a aspirant think of saying no if there is a defeat towards the goal he is approaching. Also people feel that if they are repeaters they would be judged differently because at SSB they are formed in a separate group. This is just a myth; a separate group is formed just to give freshers an equal opportunity to perform without influence.
Tips for SSB Repeaters

Repeaters are tested on the same parameters on which they were tested when they were fresherโ€™s, so donโ€™t go with any wrong perception in mind as it can affect your psychology adversely producing results against your expectations. Just concentrate on your psychology and try to build as per your personality. Remember donโ€™t follow anything which suggests you stories based on a scene or some sentences based on words as they are good as samples not good for you representing your qualities. You are the best person to analyse what you actually are and what qualities you possess, you should know what the technicalities that are being looked are and how your responses should fulfil them. If you feel the need of individualised assessment and mocks through mentoring or you have a query bothering your mind which hinders your preparation drop me a mail at [email protected]or add me on Fb and drop in a message. Remember TAT is not a story writing completion itโ€™s something different and you need to reveal yourself through whatever you write. Work hard for your goal and achieve your dream.ย
