S.A.L.T. – Siegwald Academy for Leadership Training has opened its first branch in Kolkata in April 2015 to train and prepare aspirants for The Army, Navy, Airforce and Territorial Army. Former Armed Forces Officers from the SSB prepare the candidates for their SSB. With complete indoor and outdoor facilities, the SSB training is very comprehensive. The written coaching for NDA, CDS, ACC, AFCAT & Territorial Army is very well structured to help the candidates prepare thoroughly. The written faculty are well versed with the exam pattern and make the students practice via regular Mock Tests. It is the only Academy for Defence Entrance examinations and SSB with complete facilities for the required training in Eastern India.
Eastern India is a very high potential catchment of educated youth for the Armed Forces services. The Academy has set up its branch in Kolkata to spread awareness to the potential candidates about a wonderful career that the Armed Forces Services offer. S.A.L.T. Since April 2015 has trained 140 plus candidates and has already achieved a success record. Candidate has cleared SSB for NDA & TES. Candidates have cleared Written exams for Territorial Army. First batch of students have appeared for NDA II & CDS II exams in the last two months and the academy is hoping for a good result.
The Academy is located in Kasba area, very well connected to the entire City of Kolkata and all the railway stations for outstation candidates to have an easy access. It has limited hostel facility with meals for the outstation students.
S.A.L.T. promises to groom each student not only for the Armed Forces career, but also to enhance the candidates leadership qualities and make him or her more confident. The Academy soon will introduce training and coaching for CAPF (Paramilitary) entrance exams.
