SSB is the game of mental strength and stamina. Several candidates appear in SSB in hope of clearing it. So clears it, but some face failures. Major part of SSB that need preparation and mental control is GTO as body and mind, both are in complete involvement in the strategy of solving a live problem. - Support your subordinates – Every group has some candidates who are introvert in nature. Candidates must not keep on praising their knowledge and ideas, but should also give a chance to those people. It not only leaves a positive impact over an officer but also makes the discussion interesting with an emergence of new points from everyone.
- Observe the structures and get the idea – Candidate must observe the happenings in GTO tasks. During GD or GPE candidates should observe the points and must reply according to it. While in ground tasks, the candidate must observe the structures and their respective solutions. Major part of the tasks depends on observations and your response to it.
- Difference between workable and hypothetical ideas – It is generally seen that candidates sometimes presents a hypothetical idea in ground tasks which lead to their negative impact over Officer. Candidates must remember that only workable ideas are required in GTO. You can’t slide over Phatta and slip to the finish line. The mantra for tackling GTO ground tasks is to remember you’re helping material and observe the structures. Your mind will automatically make an outline of arrangement and you will get a way to solve the task.
- Cooperation matters a lot – An officer is must possess the quality of cooperation with both, the juniors and seniors. This quality is observed in physiology, inquired in interview and seen in GTO. Here in GTO, the subordinates are your seniors and juniors. You have to take them with you in the task neglecting the nature, stamina or other aspects. During GTO you need to cooperate with other group members by getting involved in the tasks. If you are not getting any idea, then help assembling the material to make the idea workable.
