84 Gentlemen Cadets of the Technical Entry Scheme (TES)-33 & Special Commissioned Officers’ Course (SCO)-42 passed out of OTA, Gaya, today. Lieutenant General Manoj Mukund Naravane, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Command reviewed the impressive Passing Out Parade. Army’s eastern command’s general officer commanding in chief (GOC) Lieutenant General Manoj Mukund Naravane, decorated with PVSM, AVSM, SM and VSM, was the reviewing officer of Saturday’s parade.
OTA Commandant Lieutenant General Sunil Srivastava, VSM and Bar, was also present for parade review. Lieutenant General Naravane awarded Sword of Honour as well as gold medal to wing cadet Captain Kulvinder Singh, silver medal to wing cadet captain Chandan Kumar and bronze medal to wing cadet quartermaster Neeraj Kumar as per the order of merit.
The silver medal for standing first in the order of merit in SCO course was awarded to academy cadet adjutant Anil Kumar. Naravane also awarded Chief of Army Staff banner for spring term-2019 for best overall performance as a company to Gurez company.
