Aditi Parida has topped the CDS 2 2019 exam in OTA Women category and she has become the first Odisha girl to top in CDS Exam which is conducted by the UPSC. Aditi Parida scored 118 marks out of 200 in CDS 2 2019 written exam and she scored 111 marks out 200 marks in her SSB interview. She scored a total of 229 marks out of 400 to become the CDS 2 2019 topper. She will be joining the Officers Training Academy Chennai for her military training soon.
Aditi Parida has completed her graduation in mass communication from Symbiosis College, Pune this year and she is also the topper of her batch 2017-2020. She is also a classical dancer and performed in stages both in Odissi and Bharatanatyam. She is an Army brat and did her schooling from Army School across the country. Her father is a Brigadier in the Indian Army.
“I was motivated to join the Indian Army since my childhood. I am born and brought up in an army atmosphere as my father serves as a brigadier. Serving Mother India is a dream of my life.” Said Aditi.
“My daughter is trained in all aspects of life. She is a good orator, a topper in studies, a classical dance performer, a good sportsperson and above all a person who loves her country. I am proud of her.” said her mother.
