Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari Commends Field Commanders at Conference

Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), recently addressed the field commanders of the Maintenance Command during a two-day Commanders’ Conference held in Nagpur.

The conference served as a platform for the CAS to interact with senior officers and discuss various aspects related to the maintenance and sustenance of the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) operational capabilities.

In his address, Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari commended the vital role played by the Headquarters Maintenance Command (HQ MC) and its units in ensuring the operational readiness of the IAF’s diverse fleets and systems.

He acknowledged the significant contributions of the Maintenance Command towards maintaining the airworthiness and combat readiness of aircraft, as well as the upkeep of critical infrastructure and logistics support systems.

The CAS emphasized the crucial role of maintenance and logistics in sustaining the IAF’s operational effectiveness and readiness. He underscored the importance of adopting innovative approaches and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and optimize resource utilization across all levels of maintenance operations.

During the conference, Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari engaged with field commanders to discuss key operational challenges, emerging technologies, and future requirements in the field of maintenance and logistics. He highlighted the need for continuous training and skill development initiatives to empower maintenance personnel with the latest knowledge and expertise.
