ANC Air Marshal Inaugurates Upgraded Op Centre and ANFLOT Library

In a testament to the Indian Navy’s commitment to enhancing operational capabilities and fostering a culture of knowledge and readiness, ANC Air Marshal Saju Balakrishnan, Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee (CINCAN), recently undertook a visit to the Naval component.

During his visit, Air Marshal Balakrishnan inaugurated the upgraded Operational Centre for Security and Surveillance and the new ANFLOT (Ancillary Floating Platform) library, marking significant milestones in the Navy’s pursuit of excellence.

The inauguration of the upgraded Operational Centre underscores the Navy’s relentless efforts to strengthen its command and control infrastructure, enabling enhanced security and surveillance capabilities in the maritime domain.

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and advanced communication systems, the Operational Centre serves as a nerve center for monitoring and coordinating naval operations, ensuring swift and effective response to emerging threats and challenges.

Simultaneously, the unveiling of the new ANFLOT library reflects the Navy’s commitment to promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development among its personnel.

The library, equipped with a diverse collection of maritime literature and reference materials, serves as a knowledge hub for naval officers and sailors, providing them with access to invaluable resources to enhance their skills and expertise.

During his visit, Air Marshal Balakrishnan also took the opportunity to interact with personnel and inspect operational assets, including the Landing Craft Utility (LCU) L51.
