A key aspect of the exercise is the Planning and Coordination Exercise aimed at refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure seamless coordination between the forces of the two countries in times of need. The exercise showcases an impressive array of military hardware and expertise from both nations. The Indian contingent includes a Landing Platform Dock, Landing Ship Tanks (Large) with integral Landing Crafts and helicopters, a guided missile frigate, and Long Range Maritime Reconnaissance Aircraft, among others. The Indian Army and Air Force are also significantly represented, bringing to the fore a comprehensive display of India’s military capabilities.

The US contingent is equally formidable, featuring a Landing Platform Dock with its integral Landing Craft Air Cushions and helicopters, a Destroyer, and an array of maritime reconnaissance and medium lift aircraft, alongside the formidable presence of US Marines.

ExTigerTriumph2024 underscores the deep-seated strategic partnership between India and the US, with a focus on sharing best practices and enhancing interoperability in multinational HADR operations. The event stands as a testament to the strong ties and mutual respect between the armed forces of both countries, paving the way for a more secure and cooperative global environment.
