In a significant move aimed at enhancing welfare and support services for its personnel, the Indian Navy has unveiled its maiden initiative, a Navy-wide helpline providing single-point access to serving and retired Naval personnel, as well as their families, including veernaris.

The newly launched helpline, inaugurated today, marks a historic milestone in the Navy’s commitment to the well-being and satisfaction of its personnel, offering them a direct and convenient avenue to address a wide range of personnel-related queries and concerns.

Accessible through a toll-free number, 1800-11-0412, the bilingual Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) ensures seamless communication and assistance in both English and Hindi languages, catering to the diverse needs and preferences of the Navy’s personnel across the country.

By providing a centralized platform for registering and addressing personnel-related queries, the helpline aims to streamline communication channels, reduce bureaucratic hurdles, and facilitate timely resolution of issues, thereby promoting greater efficiency and satisfaction among the Navy’s workforce.

The launch of the Navy-wide helpline reflects a proactive approach towards personnel welfare and empowerment, aligning with the Navy’s core values of care, compassion, and camaraderie.

It symbolizes a concerted effort to prioritize the holistic well-being of serving and retired Naval personnel, acknowledging their vital role in safeguarding the nation’s maritime interests and upholding its proud maritime heritage.

As the Indian Navy continues to evolve and adapt to meet the challenges of the modern era, initiatives such as the Navy-wide helpline serve as a testament to its commitment to excellence, innovation, and inclusivity, reaffirming its status as a leading force for positive change and progress in the service of the nation.
