General Manoj Pande, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), recently visited forward areas along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh to assess the operational preparedness of the troops.
During his visit, General Pande interacted with personnel from various ranks, including those from the Indian Air Force (IAF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and the Border Roads Organization (BRO).
The Army Chief commended the forces for maintaining high morale and resilience while operating under extreme weather conditions and challenging terrain. He praised their dedication and the critical role they play in securing the nation’s borders.
General Pande also encouraged all ranks to continue their duties with increased professionalism, zeal, and enthusiasm, emphasizing the importance of unity and teamwork in overcoming the challenges faced in such a harsh environment.
