Inspector General Neeraj Tiwari, TM, Commander of the Coast Guard Region (A&N), inaugurated a new Defence Security Corps (DSC) On the Move (OTM) complex at the Coast Guard Air Enclave (CGAE) in Nayagaon, Port Blair on July 2, 2024. The state-of-the-art facility is designed to enhance the living conditions of DSC Jawans, offering them fully furnished accommodation areas, communal lounges, and recreation areas.
The new complex is part of an ongoing effort to improve the infrastructure for defense personnel stationed in the strategically important Andaman and Nicobar region. The facility aims to provide a comfortable and supportive environment for the Jawans, who play a crucial role in securing the nation’s maritime interests.
The inauguration ceremony was marked by a showcase of the new complex’s amenities, which include modern furnishings, well-equipped lounges, and dedicated areas for relaxation and recreation, ensuring that the Jawans have a balanced lifestyle.
