Prime Minister Narendra Modi Visits Wayanad, Commends Indian Army’s Relief Efforts

Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, accompanied by the Governor of Kerala and the Chief Minister of Kerala, recently visited Wayanad to assess the ongoing rescue and relief operations conducted by the Indian Army in the aftermath of the tragic incident at Chooralmala. During his visit, Prime Minister Modi was at Ground Zero, where he engaged with the teams involved in the extensive relief efforts.

The Prime Minister was briefed by the Station Commander of Kannur on the progress of the search and rescue operations, which have been ongoing since the disaster struck.

He also received updates on the bridging operations from the Task Force Commander of the Madras Engineer Group (MEG), who detailed the critical infrastructure restoration efforts.
