Lt. Gen. Neeraj Varshney, VSM, Commandant of the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), delivered the closing address at the Maint Conversion Flight Course for Army Aviation Officers. The event marked a significant milestone for the aviators, who have successfully transitioned from flying the older Cheetah/Chetak helicopters to the more advanced Advanced Light Helicopters (ALH) platform.
The officers underwent rigorous and specialized training, mastering the complex systems and operations of the ALH helicopters. This transition is a key step in enhancing the capabilities of Army Aviation, further strengthening the Indian Army’s operational readiness.
In his address, Lt Gen Varshney praised the officers for their dedication and professionalism throughout the course.
