This recruitment effort aims to fill a total of 36 positions, providing a significant opportunity for young individuals looking to make a career in the naval forces. To qualify, candidates must have successfully completed their Senior Secondary Examination (in the 10+2 pattern) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board. An essential criterion is achieving at least 70 percent aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and a minimum of 50 percent in English, which can be assessed from either Class 10 or Class 12.

Additionally, applicants must have participated in the JEE (Main) – 2024 examination, as selection into the Service Selection Board (SSB) will utilize the All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2024, released by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Successful candidates will be enrolled as Cadets for a rigorous four-year BTech Course in one of the following disciplines: Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics & Communication Engineering, based on the requirements of the Navy. Upon completion of this course, the cadets will be awarded a BTech degree by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

It is vital for candidates to be aware of the medical standards associated with the application process. Those recommended by the SSB are required to undergo a thorough medical examination related to the 10+2 (B Tech) entry criteria. The Indian Navy has made it clear that there will be no relaxations in medical standards on any grounds, and details concerning these standards can be found on the official Navy website.

For those looking to apply, here are the steps to follow:

1. Navigate to the Indian Navy’s official site at www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, click on the “Indian Navy Recruitment 2024” link.
3. You will be directed to a new page containing the application details.
4. Complete the form with the required information.
5. Submit the application form once all details are filled accurately.
6. It is advisable to save a copy of the application form for any future reference.

This recruitment initiative represents a notable opportunity for ambitious young candidates eager to serve their country while pursuing an education in engineering.
