This recruitment drive is aimed at filling a total of 36 vacancies within the Executive and Technical branches, with a provision for up to 7 positions specifically designated for women candidates. This initiative underscores the Indian Navy’s ongoing efforts to enhance gender diversity within its ranks.

To facilitate the application process, candidates are provided a step-by-step guide. They are instructed to first visit the official website and click on the designated recruitment link. Following registration, candidates must log in using their credentials, fill out the application form, and upload the necessary documents. An application fee payment is also required before the form can be submitted. Candidates are advised to download and print the application for their records, as no revisions to the application will be entertained post-submission.

Eligibility criteria establish that candidates must be born between January 2, 2006, and July 1, 2008. In terms of educational qualifications, applicants should have secured at least 70% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% in English in their Senior Secondary Examination, or its equivalent, from a recognized board. Furthermore, candidates who have sat for the 2024 JEE (Main) exam for B.E/B. Tech programs are also encouraged to apply.

Essential documents required for the application include proof of birth, grade reports for Class 10 and 12 and JEE (Main) 2024, a recent passport-sized color photograph, and a scorecard indicating the Common Rank List (CRL). Additionally, candidates are required to present a printed copy of their application along with original documents during the SSB interview process. It is crucial that all scanned documents are clear and legible, as illegible submissions could lead to denial of the application.

The Indian Navy has established stringent rules for applicants. Any inaccuracies in declarations made during the selection process may lead to disqualification. Furthermore, training is strictly available only to single candidates. Any individual found to be married during their training will be relieved from service and will be obligated to reimburse the government for all training-related costs, including salary and benefits.

Candidates may also be subject to drug testing at multiple stages, including the selection process, medical evaluations, and during their service career. Any detection of drug use will disqualify candidates from joining the Indian Navy, or result in discharge for those already enlisted.

The Indian Navy’s recruitment initiative for 2024 represents a significant opportunity for aspiring naval officers and highlights a commitment to fostering a diverse and skilled workforce.
