In their advisory, the police specified several key traffic routes that will be affected. Commuters traveling from Raj Bhavan and Panjagutta towards Khairatabad flyover will be redirected at VV Statue, with alternative routes available through Shadan, Nirankari, and Old Saifabad Police Station. Similarly, those navigating from Khairatabad flyover towards NTR Marg will be rerouted at the Indira Gandhi Statue at Necklace Rotary, directing traffic towards PVNR Marg, Necklace Road, Prasads IMAX, or Mint Compound Lane.

Traffic flowing from Liberty towards Upper Tank Bund will be redirected at Old Telugu Talli Junction towards Iqbal Minar. Vehicles coming from Iqbal Minar seeking to reach Old Ambedkar Junction will be instructed to divert to Telugu Talli flyover towards Katta Maisamma. Commuters departing from Nirankari Junction and Old Saifabad Police Station towards Iqbal Minar will encounter reroutes towards Ravindra Bharathi, while vehicles heading from Ravindra Bharathi will be diverted toward Lakdikapul.

At DBR Mills, traffic moving from Dhobi Ghat towards Children’s Park or Upper Tank Bund will also experience redirection, this time towards Kavadiguda Crossroads. Similarly, traffic at Kavadiguda Crossroads will have diverging routes depending on the direction of travel, either towards Jabbar Complex and CGO Towers or back towards DBR Mills.

Significantly, traffic from Ranigunj heading to Upper Tank Bund will not be allowed and will be redirected at Karbala Maidan towards Bible House. Additionally, inter-district RTC buses traveling from Secunderabad to MGBS via Tank Bund will be diverted at Sweekar-Upkar Junction, utilizing alternative routes through Sangeeth, Tarnaka, Nallakunta, and Chaderghat.

The police confirmed that designated parking areas have been established for attendees and dignitaries of the event, including spaces along PVNR Marg, Necklace Road, Adarsh Nagar Lane, GHMC Head Office Lane, Formula Race Course Road, and Boats Club, along with locations near the Martyrs’ Memorial.

Residents are advised to steer clear of potentially congested areas, which include VV Statue, Khairatabad, Old Saifabad Police Station, Iqbal Minar, Telugu Talli Junction, Necklace Rotary, Liberty, Ravindra Bharathi, Ambedkar Statue, Kavadiguda Crossroads, Katta Maisamma, Indira Park Crossroads, Karbala Maidan, Ranigunj, and Nallagutta.

The Hyderabad Traffic Police strongly recommends that citizens utilize alternate routes and keep abreast of any updates via the official Hyderabad Traffic Police Facebook page or their Twitter handle @HYDTP. In case of travel emergencies, assistance is accessible through the traffic helpline at 9010203626. Traffic restrictions will be lifted following the conclusion of the air show.
