The NCC Officers’ Training Academy, Gwalior, celebrated its Diamond Jubilee Passing Out Parade (POP), reviewed by Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command.
On this historic occasion, 131 Lady Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) took the oath after completing their rigorous training, marking six decades of the Academy’s contribution to shaping future leaders and showcasing the strength of Nari Shakti in the nation’s defence and social fabric.
Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth commended the ANOs for their discipline and resilience, highlighting the growing role of women in society and the Armed Forces. He also underlined the significance of NCC in nation-building by instilling values of character, courage, and integrity among the youth.
In his address, the Army Commander urged the newly commissioned ANOs to embrace their role as instructors, moulding cadets into responsible citizens, principled leaders, and future defenders of the nation. He called upon them to harness their training, mentor the next generation, and contribute actively towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047.
