Lieutenant General Shamsher Singh Virk, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Chetak Corps, visited the Lalgarh Jattan Military Station and the Mahajan Field Firing Ranges to review operational preparedness and training standards of the formation.
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on ongoing training activities, combat drills, and readiness measures undertaken by troops to meet emerging security challenges. He interacted with officers and soldiers, appreciating their professionalism, dedication, and sustained focus on operational excellence.
Lt Gen Virk lauded all ranks for maintaining high levels of combat readiness, adaptability, and agility, ensuring that the formation remains a robust and mission-ready force capable of responding effectively to any contingency.
