The two-week course is aimed at strengthening the operational readiness of Sri Lankan law enforcement personnel in dealing with complex security scenarios. Participants will undergo intensive modules covering counter-terrorism operations, Improvised Explosive Device (IED) handling, coordination drills, crisis planning, reflex firing, and unarmed combat. The curriculum has been carefully designed to impart practical skills and tactical knowledge, enabling participants to respond swiftly and effectively during high-pressure situations.

Senior NSG instructors will conduct live demonstrations, field exercises, and simulated crisis scenarios, ensuring that the training is realistic, rigorous, and outcome-oriented. The course not only enhances technical proficiency but also focuses on developing leadership, decision-making, and coordination skills—critical elements in managing crises at both tactical and strategic levels.
