In line with its commitment to developing a force that is agile, alert, and ready to face real-world challenges, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) conducted an intensive Krav Maga training session for male trainees at the Regional Training Centre (RCRTC), Thakkolam.
Krav Maga, a globally recognized self-defence and close combat discipline, is known for its focus on practical techniques applicable in real-life situations. Designed to enhance both physical endurance and mental agility, the training equips personnel with the skills to effectively respond to hostile encounters and operational contingencies.
Over the course of the program, trainees underwent high-intensity drills aimed at improving reflexes, situational awareness, and tactical decision-making under pressure. The sessions emphasized hand-to-hand combat, defensive tactics, weapon retention, and neutralization of multiple threats key skills vital for personnel engaged in high-security and law enforcement duties.
A senior instructor at the centre highlighted that such specialized combat training builds not just physical strength but also psychological resilience fostering a spirit of courage, control, and confidence among the trainees.
The CISF continues to evolve as the โShield of Securityโ for the nation, maintaining high standards of discipline and professionalism through continuous training initiatives that blend traditional defence techniques with modern combat strategies.
