General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), visited Air Force Station Bhuj today to review operational preparedness and assess the synergy between the Indian Army and Indian Air Force in the region.
During the visit, the COAS was briefed on ongoing operational initiatives, joint exercises, and collaborative efforts to strengthen India’s defence posture in the strategically sensitive area.
General Dwivedi interacted with all ranks of the Indian Air Force, commending their professionalism, dedication, and unwavering spirit of jointmanship in safeguarding the nation. He also appreciated their selfless contributions to nation-building and operational excellence.
The visit highlighted the importance of inter-service coordination, operational readiness, and continuous capability enhancement to address emerging security challenges along India’s western frontiers.
