Lieutenant General Man Raj Singh Mann has officially assumed command of the Trishakti Corps, succeeding Lieutenant General Zubin A. Minwalla in a formal handover ceremony. The event was attended by senior Army officials, officers of the Corps, and other dignitaries.
Lieutenant General RC Tiwari, Army Commander, Eastern Command, congratulated Lt Gen Mann on taking over the reins of one of the Indian Army’s most prestigious and operationally critical formations. He lauded Lt Gen Mann’s distinguished service record, highlighting his strategic leadership, operational expertise, and unwavering commitment to troop welfare and morale.
Lt Gen Man Raj Singh Mann, a highly decorated officer, has held several key appointments across diverse operational theatres of the Indian Army. His career spans significant field commands, staff appointments, and leadership roles in both peacetime and conflict operations. He is known for his expertise in operational planning, joint military exercises, and enhancing combat readiness, making him well-suited to lead the Trishakti Corps in its critical mandate.
The Trishakti Corps, tasked with safeguarding India’s eastern frontiers, operates in some of the most challenging terrains and climates. Under Lt Gen Mann’s command, the Corps is expected to maintain high operational readiness, strengthen border security, and implement modern training, technology integration, and strategic initiatives to enhance its effectiveness.
In his address to the troops, Lt Gen Mann emphasized the importance of morale, vigilance, and seamless coordination within units, stressing that the Corps’ strength lies in the dedication and professionalism of its soldiers.
