Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, reviewed the operational preparedness of the Dah Division, reaffirming the Command’s focus on sustained readiness and technological adaptation along the northern frontiers.
During his visit, the Army Commander inspected the Drone Training Node and witnessed a Battle Enablers Display, showcasing advancements in battlefield technology, drone operations, and integrated support systems developed to enhance situational awareness and combat efficiency.
Lt Gen Sharma interacted with officers and troops, commending their professionalism, dedication, and high standards of operational excellence despite challenging terrain and climatic conditions. He emphasised the importance of maintaining peak combat readiness through rigorous, realistic, and mission-oriented training, ensuring the force remains prepared for all contingencies.
The visit highlighted Northern Command’s continuous efforts to modernise frontline formations, integrate emerging technologies, and strengthen India’s defensive posture in strategically sensitive regions.
