Lt General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, visited the forward posts in the Tangtse Sector of Eastern Ladakh to review the operational readiness and defence preparedness of troops deployed in the high-altitude region.

During the visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the prevailing security situation and the ongoing operational developments along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). He lauded the troops for their unwavering commitment, exceptional professionalism, and high state of combat readiness while operating in extremely challenging terrain and harsh climatic conditions.

Lt Gen Sharmaโs interaction with the soldiers served as a major morale booster for the troops deployed in the forward areas. He also emphasised the importance of maintaining operational alertness and synergy among all formations to ensure the integrity of Indiaโs borders in the strategically significant Ladakh sector.

The visit underscores the Indian Armyโs continued focus on enhancing operational preparedness and surveillance capabilities in Eastern Ladakh amid ongoing efforts to maintain stability and peace along the northern frontiers.
