Course Highlights
A total of 103 Subedar Majors and Potential Subedar Majors from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Special Frontier Force (SFF), and Assam Rifles successfully completed the Potential Subedar Major Course, one of the most prestigious leadership courses for JCOs. The comprehensive four-week programme was meticulously designed to enhance their tactical acumen, administrative efficiency, and leadership qualities โ all essential for higher responsibilities in unit and formation management.
During the valedictory ceremony, the Commandant of JLA, Bareilly, addressed the participants and underscored the pivotal role of Subedar Majors in maintaining unit discipline, administration, and morale. He lauded the participants for their dedication, professionalism, and zeal to learn, emphasizing that Subedar Majors act as the crucial link between the officers and soldiers, ensuring cohesion and operational effectiveness at every level.
Award Winners
Among the participants, Sub Pawan Singh of the 94 Medium Regiment distinguished himself by being adjudged the Overall Best Student and Best in Theory, reflecting his exceptional understanding of military tactics and leadership principles.
Sub Maj Sunil Singh Dogra from the Army Air Defence College (AADC) was awarded Best in Communications for his outstanding proficiency in operational communication and coordination โ a vital component in modern warfare and field operations.
