In a formal Change of Command ceremony held on November 1, 2025, Brigadier Prafull Mohan took over as Commandant of Military Hospital (MH) Dehradun, succeeding Brigadier Parikshit Singh.
Brig Mohan, a highly qualified Clinical Pharmacologist, brings extensive experience from his distinguished service across multiple military medical establishments. He has previously served in key academic and clinical roles, including at the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune.
The Change of Command marks a significant leadership transition at MH Dehradun, a premier medical facility catering to serving personnel, veterans, and their families. Under his stewardship, the hospital is expected to continue strengthening its medical capabilities, patient care standards, and training excellence.
The ceremony also acknowledged the contributions of Brig Parikshit Singh, who led the hospital with professionalism and dedication during his tenure.
