The Officers’ Transport Management Course at the ASC Centre & College (ASCC&C), Bengaluru, concluded on 3 November 2025, marking the successful completion of an intensive training programme aimed at enhancing operational and logistical efficiency in mechanical transport management. The course brought together participants from the Indian Army and eight officers from Friendly Foreign Countries (FFCs), fostering mutual learning and professional exchange.
Training Officers from India and Abroad
In addition to Indian Army officers, participants from the Armies of Benin, Botswana, Cameroon, the Philippines, and Lesotho attended the course. The programme focused on advanced techniques for the effective operation, maintenance, and management of mechanical transport, crucial for sustaining modern military mobility and logistics operations.
Emphasis on Operational Preparedness and Logistics Efficiency
Delivering the Valedictory Address, Lieutenant General J.K. Gera, Commandant, ASC Centre & College, congratulated all officers on successfully completing the course. He highlighted the critical role of logistics and transport management in operational preparedness, especially during war and high-tempo military operations. The Commandant urged officers to continually innovate in logistics planning and execution to maintain the Indian Army’s hallmark of readiness and adaptability.

For her outstanding performance throughout the course, Lieutenant Madhulika Negi was adjudged the Best Student, reflecting exceptional proficiency, leadership, and commitment to learning. Her achievement exemplified the high standards of training and professionalism upheld by the ASC Centre & College.
