Lt Gen Rajesh Pushkar, AVSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the elite Kharga Corps, conducted a comprehensive review of the operational preparedness and combat readiness of units under the Pine Division. The visit was aimed at assessing the current state of operational efficiency, technological integration, and overall mission preparedness of field formations deployed in the region.

During the review, Lt Gen Pushkar was briefed on the latest tactical and strategic developments, including the adoption of advanced surveillance systems, integration of cutting-edge communication technologies, and enhancement of battlefield awareness mechanisms. He commended the troops for their innovative initiatives in leveraging modern technology to refine Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), ensuring faster decision-making and improved response capability in dynamic operational scenarios.

The GOC appreciated the high standards of training, discipline, and motivation among all ranks, emphasizing that the true strength of the Indian Army lies in the determination and adaptability of its soldiers. He particularly lauded the Divisionโs consistent efforts in maintaining a high state of readiness and its ability to operate seamlessly across diverse terrains and operational environments.
Lt Gen Pushkar also interacted with field commanders and troops, encouraging them to continue focusing on jointmanship, technological adaptability, and physical as well as mental resilience. He highlighted the importance of constant innovation, realistic training, and the spirit of camaraderie in meeting the evolving security challenges along Indiaโs borders.
