Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command (SWAC), visited Air Force Station Bhuj to review ongoing activities and interact with personnel.

During his visit, the Air Marshal highlighted the critical importance of cybersecurity and the need for heightened preparedness against evolving threats to national security.

He also conducted a thorough review of all ongoing infrastructure projects at the station, ensuring that development and operational readiness progress in tandem. During the visit, Air Marshal Kapoor also flew a sortie in the Jaguar aircraft and reviewed the operational readiness of the station, reaffirming the IAF’s focus on maintaining high mission capability.

Interacting with officers and airmen, Air Marshal Kapoor emphasised discipline, vigilance, and the adoption of modern technologies to preserve the station’s strategic and operational effectiveness.

The visit underscored SWAC’s commitment to strengthening security, infrastructure, and overall operational capability in the region.
