In a moment of pride for the National Security Guard (NSG), the Mt Satopanth Expedition Team was formally flagged in by the Director General, NSG, following their successful summit of Mt Satopanth, which rises to a height of 7,075 metres.
All members of the expedition team were felicitated in recognition of their exceptional grit, endurance and teamwork displayed during the challenging high-altitude climb. The successful ascent highlighted the teamโs physical fitness, mental resilience and commitment to excellence under extreme conditions.

Addressing the team, the Director General, NSG, commended their achievement and praised the collective effort that led to the successful summit. He highlighted the importance of such expeditions in fostering courage, camaraderie and operational readiness among personnel.

The DG NSG also extended his best wishes to the team for their upcoming Mt Everest Expedition 2026, expressing confidence in their ability to scale greater heights and bring further laurels to the organisation.

The achievement once again underscored the NSGโs ethos of determination, teamwork and relentless pursuit of excellence, both in operational roles and adventure activities.
