Chief of the Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi, reviewed the Passing Out Parade (POP) of the 157th Regular Course, 46th Technical Entry Scheme (TES), 140th Technical Graduate Course (TGC), 55th Short Service Commission (SCO) Course and TA Officers Entry Examination (OEE) 2023 Courses at the Indian Military Academy (IMA).
A total of 525 Officer Cadets, including 34 from friendly foreign countries, proudly marched out of the hallowed portals of the Indian Military Academy, marking their formal commissioning into the Armed Forces. The parade was marked by immaculate drill, flawless coordination and exceptional turnout, reflecting the rigorous training and high standards upheld at IMA.

Addressing the newly commissioned officers, the COAS congratulated the Officer Cadets and their proud parents, acknowledging their support and sacrifices. He highlighted the singular honour and responsibility associated with serving in the Armed Forces and reminded the young officers of the trust reposed in them by the nation.

General Dwivedi exhorted the Officer Cadets to strive for professional excellence, lead by example and rise to the challenges they will encounter in service of the nation. He emphasised the importance of integrity, commitment and adaptability in an evolving security environment.

The Passing Out Parade reaffirmed the Indian Military Academyโs enduring legacy of producing leaders of character, courage and competence, ready to serve the nation with honour and dedication.
