A Commanders’ Conclave was held at HQ South Western Air Command (SWAC) under the chairmanship of Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C), SWAC, bringing together commanders from across the Command’s Area of Responsibility (AoR).
During the conclave, Air Marshal Kapoor engaged in detailed interactions with all formation commanders, comprehensively assessing operational preparedness, force readiness, and mission effectiveness across SWAC. The discussions focused on sustaining high levels of combat readiness in an evolving security environment.
The AOC-in-C commended the commanders for their vital contributions in enhancing the operational capability of the Indian Air Force during Operation Sindoor, as well as their exemplary performance in national and international exercises and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations.

Air Marshal Kapoor also acknowledged the professionalism and leadership displayed by SWAC formations in upholding the core values of the Indian Air Force — Mission, Integrity, and Excellence. He emphasised the importance of continued adaptability, jointness, and operational innovation to meet future challenges.
The Commanders’ Conclave reinforced SWAC’s commitment to combat readiness, leadership cohesion, and operational excellence, ensuring the Indian Air Force remains prepared to respond swiftly and decisively across the full spectrum of operations.
