Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma, PVSM, AVSM, SM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Army Training Command (ARTRAC), visited the Junior Leaders Academy (JLA) in Bareilly on 12 December 2025 to assess ongoing training advancements and future capability-building initiatives.
During the visit, the Army Commander reviewed a wide spectrum of training domains, including infrastructure upgrades, enhanced drone training modules, and the integration of niche and emerging technologies aimed at strengthening the leadership skills of the Indian Army’s next generation of junior leaders.
He interacted with instructors and trainees, appreciating the academy’s efforts in adapting to modern battlefield demands and cultivating technologically adept, mission-ready leaders.
The visit concluded with Lt Gen Sharma felicitating two veterans for their distinguished service and presenting commendations to three serving personnel for their exceptional dedication and professional excellence.
