Vijay Diwas 2025 was solemnly observed at the Southern Command War Memorial in Pune, marking 54 years since India’s historic victory in the 1971 Indo–Pak War.

Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, laid a wreath to honour the brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation.

Serving personnel and veterans, including war heroes from 1971, participated in the ceremony to pay tribute to the fallen, celebrate the legacy of victory, and reaffirm their commitment to the values of courage, duty, and sacrifice that define the Indian Army.
