Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander of Northern Command (ArmyCdrNC), recently visited Chhatru and Basantgarh to assess the counter-terrorism grid and operational readiness of deployed units.
During the visit, the Army Commander conducted detailed deliberations with commanders on the ground, strategising measures to strengthen the region’s security architecture and maintain peace. He praised the troops for their unwavering dedication and commended the field leadership for effectively countering emerging threats.
Lt Gen Sharma emphasised the importance of maintaining constant vigilance and harnessing advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency, reiterating Northern Command’s steadfast commitment to keeping Jammu & Kashmir free from terror. The visit highlighted the enduring resolve of the Indian Army in safeguarding regional stability and security.
