Major General Naveen Mahajan, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Golden Key Division, visited the VC Brigade where he interacted with troops and reviewed the formation’s operational preparedness and ongoing capability development initiatives.
During the visit, the GOC assessed key training standards, readiness levels and the Brigade’s sustained efforts to enhance operational effectiveness across the full spectrum of military operations. He appreciated the professionalism and mission-focused approach demonstrated by all ranks in maintaining a high state of preparedness.
Maj Gen Mahajan also inspected the Formation Drone Training Lab, where he was briefed on advancements in drone integration and modern battlefield technologies. He commended the steady progress made in leveraging unmanned systems to improve situational awareness, agility and real-time decision-making capability.
Encouraging the troops to continue building on their strong foundation of discipline, innovation and operational proficiency, the GOC emphasised the importance of adapting to evolving challenges and sustaining excellence in every domain of military readiness.
