A NCC Girls Camp for cadets of 20 Mizo NCC Battalion, Mizoram was successfully conducted at the Counter Insurgency & Jungle Warfare School (CIJWS), Vairengte, from 02 December to 14 December 2025.

During the two-week camp, NCC cadets were introduced to a structured military routine, aimed at fostering discipline, leadership, and physical fitness. The training programme included firing practice, basic fieldcraft, group tasks, and physical training, along with sports competitions and field exercises, providing cadets with hands-on exposure to military life.

The cadets also closely observed the ethos, professionalism, and high training standards of CIJWS, gaining valuable insights into counter-insurgency and jungle warfare training. The experience left a lasting impression on the cadets, inspiring them with the values of dedication, teamwork, and service to the nation.

The camp played a significant role in empowering young women, strengthening their confidence, and nurturing leadership qualities among NCC cadets in Mizoram.
