Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, PVSM, AVSM, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), visited the NCC Republic Day Camp 2026, where he was received by Lieutenant General Virendra Vats, YSM, SM, VSM, Director General, National Cadet Corps.
The CAS was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour on arrival, followed by a vibrant and exhilarating band display presented by Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Pilani, which reflected the discipline, precision, and cultural spirit of the cadets.
During the visit, Air Chief Marshal Singh witnessed the meticulously designed Flag Area, which showcased a range of social awareness themes highlighting national values, civic responsibility, and youth engagement in nation-building. He also visited the NCC Hall of Fame, which stands as a proud testament to the organisation’s rich heritage, achievements, and enduring legacy in shaping generations of disciplined and service-oriented citizens.
The Chief of the Air Staff interacted with cadets and officials, appreciating the high standards of training, motivation, and commitment displayed at the camp. He commended the NCC’s role in nurturing leadership qualities, patriotism, and a spirit of service among the youth.
