Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Southern Command, visited Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Military Station to review the operational preparedness of the Sure Swift Strikers formation.
During the visit, a Formation and Station Brief was presented to the Army Commander, highlighting key operational commitments, training focus areas, major infrastructure upgrades, and ongoing welfare measures undertaken by the formation.

A key highlight of the visit was a comprehensive demonstration of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Counter-UAS operations. The Army Commander witnessed a synchronised display of 40 drones operating simultaneously, delivering coordinated swarm effects with exceptional precision. The demonstration showcased the formation’s high technical proficiency and readiness to counter emerging threats on future battlefields.

While driving around the military station, Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth was also briefed on various station welfare initiatives, including the Sainik Sahayata Kendra, aimed at supporting veterans and their families. The visit reaffirmed Southern Command’s emphasis on operational excellence, reinforced by a robust and responsive welfare support system for serving personnel and veterans alike.
