Lt Gen Navin Sachdeva, Chief of Staff, Surya Command, visited the RVC Centre & College at Meerut to review the institution’s administrative framework and its comprehensive training ecosystem that underpins the Indian Army’s veterinary and animal management capabilities.
During the visit, Lt Gen Sachdeva reviewed key training facilities, including the Dog Training Faculty, Equitation and Animal Management Faculty, and the Training Regiment. Detailed interactions with instructors and personnel provided insights into the specialised training methodologies adopted to ensure high professional standards and sustained operational readiness.

The Chief of Staff appreciated the state-of-the-art training infrastructure and commended the highly motivated team of officers and personnel, whose dedication and professionalism continue to strengthen the Army’s veterinary support system and animal management excellence.
The visit reaffirmed the Army’s focus on maintaining robust and modern training institutions that play a critical role in supporting operational effectiveness across diverse environments.
