Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander of Northern Command, visited frontline formations and units deployed in North Kashmir to review their operational preparedness and assess the prevailing security situation.
During the visit, Lt Gen Sharma interacted closely with officers and troops on the ground, gaining firsthand insight into operational challenges and readiness levels. He commended the soldiers for their high morale, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to maintaining security in a sensitive operational environment.

The Army Commander particularly appreciated the unitsโ focus on technology integration and innovative application at the tactical level, noting that such initiatives enhance situational awareness, operational effectiveness, and force protection. He emphasised that the intelligent use of technology, combined with robust training and leadership, is critical in countering evolving security challenges.
