Officers undergoing Higher Command Course (HCC)-54 at the Army War College undertook a visit to the Eastern Naval Command as part of their professional military education.
During the visit, the officers interacted with senior naval leadership and were briefed on the Command’s operational role, maritime security responsibilities, and joint operational constructs. The programme included visits to frontline Indian Navy warships, submarines, and advanced training facilities, providing first-hand exposure to naval operations and force integration.

The interaction reinforced the Indian Armed Forces’ emphasis on jointness and inter-service integration, enhancing understanding of maritime operations, domain awareness, and coordinated responses across land, sea, and air domains.

The visit underscores the Indian Army’s commitment to developing future senior leaders with a holistic, tri-service perspective—critical for effective planning and execution of operations in today’s complex security environment.
