Officers of Higher Command Course-54 Visit Eastern Naval Command to Enhance Jointness and Integration

HCC-54 officers gain first-hand exposure to naval operations, strengthening tri-service cooperation and operational synergy.

Officers undergoing Higher Command Course (HCC)-54 at the Army War College undertook a visit to the Eastern Naval Command as part of their professional military education.

During the visit, the officers interacted with senior naval leadership and were briefed on the Commandโ€™s operational role, maritime security responsibilities, and joint operational constructs. The programme included visits to frontline Indian Navy warships, submarines, and advanced training facilities, providing first-hand exposure to naval operations and force integration.

The interaction reinforced the Indian Armed Forcesโ€™ emphasis on jointness and inter-service integration, enhancing understanding of maritime operations, domain awareness, and coordinated responses across land, sea, and air domains.
